I was a winner!

Hello guys,

Quick post here, showing off a beautiful clutch I have won! It was a recent giveaway from the 'Voguish' blog.

I was so excited and happy to be the winner of this fabulous giveaway, since it's the first time I win one! As soon as I saw it, I knew this clutch was just so me... I love skulls!
The bag is also very versatile as it has a shoulder strap, so it can be worn as a shoulder bag as well as a clutch. Great colour as grey goes with everything and this gorgeous, glam, huge crystal encrusted skull is just FABULOUS!
I quite love to wear it as clutch, as I don't have many of them and this one is a lovely one to get me started.

I would like to send a special thanks to Ire, from the Voguish blog for this lovely gift, which is already much loved!

With slightly Gothic touches today, shredded tshirt and loads of skulls accessories, (someone even commented they were missing my heels and so was I, but I had walked so much the night before in heels that the soles of my feet could not bare thinking about it!) I am all relaxed in black and white and trainers again. Thank you very much!

It was me and the girls today...

Don't worry there are no spoilers here!

Hi guys,

Even took the day off to go to the cinema to watch SATC 2!

It was just me and 'my girls' today... I was just so excited, we waited so long. I went to the cinema around 3:00 PM when I knew it was going to be quiet and also because I wanted to be one the first ones to see the film too.

I wasn't disappointed at all. As per usual I laughed and cried a little bit (I always do). Loved the girls adventures in 'Abu Dhabi' but as we all know it was actually filmed in Marrakesh and I have been there, so it brought me back many memories. I just can't imagine walking down the souks like Carrie, with that huge skirt, I don't think that would be even physically possible! I didn't have as many adventures over there as they did but like Carrie, I also bought a few pairs of shoes... but had a much harder and funny experience doing so.

And if you haven't seen the trailer here is a little teaser!
Enjoy!

See you soon.
Can't wait to buy it on DVD.

Summer is yellow

Hello guys,

Today's post is an outfit I was wearing the other day. It was one of those amazing really hot days we just had and there was me, as bright as the sun! I do think this outfit looked better in real life, maybe it was the way it blew in the summer breeze.

I truly love yellow for summer... it would look a lot better if I had a tan, admittedly I know, but I never tan. Talking about tanning, you guys will see me through out the summer wearing leggings and trousers... this is because I am having legs lasered at the moment, so I have to keep them covered, no sun allowed whatsoever. I thought it was going to be easy but as soon as the sun came out, I wanted to go out in my mini skirt! I am missing my mini skirts and shorts so much and I know it will be hard but it must be done. At the end of the day, it's all for a greater cause.

Pink, yellow and blue a risky look. Inspired by the colours of the rainbow!

Ahhh, just on the follow up from yesterday's post. I have been in touch with the lovely Simone from Ydeltuyt and have been informed that the stone agate rings might be back in stock soon, but unfortunately not the chunky version.

See you soon.

I just want something I can never have

Hello guys,

Hope you are all well and enjoying the beautiful weather we're having at the moment.

Today's post is about a really cool shop I have found over the net and also about what has become an obsession for me... nice big chunky rings! Well, I think the whole blogsphere is after big chunky rings at the moment!
Again, coming across a few blogs from the Netherlands, I saw a couple of girls wearing these rings, my latest object of desire.

This a new online jewellery shop from the Netherlands called Ydeltuyt and they do have an amazing selection of accessories and jewellery, which I loved it all.
I must say, they are very, very popular and their rings in particular just seem to fly off the shelves!
They are really fabulous, quirky and cool designs and I wasn't quick or lucky enough to be able to buy one yet as they run out of stock so quickly! Unbelievable!

So, now I REALLY WANT one of those rings! They seem to be completely out of stock for ever... How sad! What do I do???

Amazing aren't they, you too can drool as much as you like. (Tears, big time!)

They had a new collection out, not so long ago, this time around with big agate stone rings. There was a choice of 5 colours. Guess what? Also sold out, very quickly! Arrrrrghhhh....

pictures from Ydeltuyt.

So, I am trying my hardest to keep up with their releases and maybe next time I'll be lucky enough to have one of their rings. I am praying for their first design of the chunky ring to come back in stock! The are so unique.

Now, the search for the big chunky one still on! I still hope it will be a Ydeltuyt original for me though.

See you soon.

Wearing an amazing 50's hairstyle, I totally loved this simple combination a la Miss Von Teese. I really love a cool pin up look, she pulls it off beautifully!

Louise, on Portobello Road.
A cool combination of prints, I love the trousers with a modern tribal print, they are from Topshop and they go really well with the corsage and a cute headband.

Amie, on Westbourne Grove.
Another cool look mixing stripes, this time around with a cute polka dot skirt and a pair of suede ankle boots. A sassy combination, really love it!

Nicola, near Portobello Road.
I love the fullness of the skirt and the sequined top worn underneath. Paired up with some cool lurexy leggings (I got the same pair). She looks great!

Mary Portas and Save the Children. 'Living and Giving' on the Grove

Hello guys,

Last night I attend the pre opening party for the new, fabulous and exciting charity shop on the Westbourne Grove, Living and Giving by Ms. Mary Portas (aka Queen of the shops) and Save the Children.

Following up the success of the designer charity shop/pop up store, last year on Westfields shopping centre created by Ms Portas. Save the Children has partnered with her to open a permanent designer/high street charity shop. The shop on the Westbourne Grove is the first of several shops to open in London, great news to all of us!

I have also read in Grazia about it, the opening is tomorrow morning at 11 AM, but there was a competition in Grazia early this week, which 100 lucky readers will have the chance to an exclusive earlier entrance, possibly snapping up the most coveted items! Think confessions of a shopaholic sale!

So here is an exclusive preview to some of the items on sale. Girls! Heels down to the grove tomorrow! Before you guys get too excited, you too, DO your bit, take an item of clothing with you, it can be from the high street or a designer item. The important is to donate it before you buy something fabulous ;-)

Check it out!

It was nice sunny evening, a real relaxed atmosphere outside.

Unfortunately, Ms Mary Portas wasn't there in person. I would love to have the pleasure of meeting her.

Gorgeous Mulberry bag, one of the Grazia star items, fabulous indeed, made of the softest leather with python trimmings! OHHHH... original price £800 going for £300!

There was a CABINET full of Chanel bags, maybe around 10... and some lovely underwear by Agent Provocateur too.

...AND some fabulous accessories! I just loved this Chanel belt so much! I would buy that one, if I could!

More and more fab accessories, some jaw dropping bracelets by Mawi.

Don't forget it's all for a good cause!
Look fantastic and help. DONATE some of your clothes!

I also really liked this French Connection top.

I'm sure this changing room will be very busy tomorrow.

Those Marc Jacobs bags are smart shoppers, aren't they?

Temperley, Mulberry, Agent Procateur, Issa, Betty Jackson, and Julien Macdonald to name a few, and loads and loads more. All great items for all sorts of budgets mostly donated by local business. The shops will have a mix of designer, high street fashion, with local talent displays from lifestyle objects to art works.

Mary's Living and Giving for Save the Children (on the grove) is at 177 Westbourne Grove, W11 2SB.

See you soon.

Easy like Sunday morning

Hello guys,

A quick outfit post tonight because I am just so tired...

I was in a very relaxed, easy (Converse) mood today and not very sure about the weather, so a quick layering was the solution.

I totally adore this mini dress which I bought at Primark. It has loads of qualities, a nice cut on the bias, an interesting twist, a little asymmetry, a little gather, a cheap price and a cool striped print. All and all reminding me of and old Anglomania dress, which I always wanted to have. The major problem is the fabric... needless to say, you pay for the quality you get. Big shame here, since this dress is so simple yet cool.

Blaming here on mixed fabrics, hummm, I am always very careful when buying mixed fabrics. I know sometimes they are not very friendly even if you use Dove deodorant, which I do. (laughs)

I always read the label and check what kind of fabric my garments are made of. Do you?

Back to business, I think this look works because, the jacket has a quirky cut too, the belt, punks it up (another happy snap at a sample sale for £6) and because I am wearing some of my favourite jewellery, which always makes me happy.

PS: I just want to thank The Goddess of Boho for the special lovely comment she has left on my last outfit post.

She said "And I love how you flash that happy smile. Frownie, pouty, bloggers are so passe!".

Thank you so much honey, I am a happy person indeed and I am glad you guys enjoy my pics, plus I do look terrible when I pout! Comments like yours, makes me smile even more.

New Melissas by Vivienne Westwood are just around the corner

Hello guys,

Today's post is all about the new Melissas + Vivienne Westwood collection for A/W.
'Lady Dragon Cherry' Melissas have already been released in Brazil, of course, and are on their way over here as we speak.

I am already betting on this new version to be sold out quickly! They are just so cute and they totally please everyone, surely to bring your inner Pin up girl out with a playful attitude and the cutest cherries on top!
I am so sure they will go like hotcakes with cherry sauce....

Aren't they just adorable?

And following the popularity 'Lady dragon heart' has new hot colours for Autumn... but honestly we are aloud to wear it on summertime too!

Another lovely creation for this season is a totally new collection which has just been introduced, called 'Zen Girl'. An amazing, comfy and truly cool flat, with Westwood's signature heart on top and stud details. I LOVED IT!
I would love to add this pair to my collection.

Love them too? No need to despair! The good news for us is that they will be selling on the UK at the end of this month (not long to go) and you can also pre order them now from Hervia!

See you soon.
