Merry Christmas! With my special Xmas cards

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

FELIZ NATAL!

Well, we are almost there, so I hope you all have a wonderful and peaceful time during the festivity.
I'm sharing with you, some of the Christmas cards I have 'made'. They are pictures that I have taken from some of the nicest and cutest decorations and shop windows around town. I love London when all the Xmas lights are all lit, I hope you can get a little feel of it too!

I got excited with the idea and ended up turning this fabulous Barbie Xmas tree picture into a 'card'. I loved it so much that I actually have sent it all my friends! They just know, it's so ME!

New Miu Miu store in Bond Street

Hi guys,

The new Miu Miu flagship store in Bond Street opened just a couple of weeks ago. Of course, there was an amazing opening party and loads of celebrities attended despite the weather conditions.

I took these pictures 2 days after the opening, the windows were displaying the Miu Miu 2011 Cruise collection, full of funky prints such as hearts and apples, mixed with the classic polka dot, in bright and bold colours. Now, the windows have already changed for a more wintery look.
I hope you enjoy!

The big freeze

Hi guys,

So c-o-l-d! We are under sub-zero temperatures and it's been snowing quite a bit in London, so I went out wearing my wellington boots, the best thing to brave the snow and eventually the slush. I am wearing so many layers, 2 pairs of tights and thick woollen cream socks which are so cute with pom pom on them, perfect with the wellingtons because they keep my feet so warm as well as helping the boots to fit better on my feet.

I find funny (and I didn't believe when I was told) but tights layered together are warmer then a pair of jeans, so on the coldest days I'll probably wear a skirt or when the weather becomes really bad, I would go for my ski trousers. Mixing red, black and cream this is a cosy outfit and I must say this Navajo jacket is really warm, I can't get enough of it now.

Fridays @ Portobello

... Some cool people around town.

Lilliana, near Portobello Road.
Graciously combined a floral dress with a cool black leather jacket and a lovely Jimmy Choo bag. Her sunglasses are also very cool.

Paola, near Portobello Road.
She look so funky with all the layering, I love her furry boots going hand in hand with a faux fur coat topped off with a Chanel bag.
Paola and Lilliana are sisters (can you tell?) and I had much fun talking to them. Un grande bacio, girlies!

?, in Mayfair.
She looked amazing but it was so cold and rainy that I forgot to ask her name...
Anyways, speaking of fur ... this is the most amazing skirt I have seen! Fantastically combined with a pair of Louboutin and a classic Chanel 2.55. A very fierce and elegant look! I love it.

Sari, on Portobello Market.
In a soft 'Lolita' style, she looks like a doll with lovely hair and punk platform boots.

Fiona, in Mayfair.
Another fantastically cute and well layered look. The white chiffon dress is soft but combined with winter touches, like the high knee socks and the Russian hat, works really well. I love the fact that her Mulberry is bright pink and breaks everything up.

Shinya, at Piccadilly.
He looks so cool, I love how he styled this outfit and the attention he's paid to detail. Plus I really like his tie.

Alix, on Portobello Road.
I was so jealous of her perfect fringe! She' s wearing a lovely leopard print coat, combined with a pair of Creepers on the same print. Grrrr!

See you soon.

Hello Kitty Headphones

Hi guys,

As we are approaching Xmas, my head still full of ideas (!) and I have been coming across a lot of stuff... things that I would love to have. Mad about Hello Kitty as you guys know I am, this week I ended up coming across the perfect accessory to go with some the items which I posted about a couple of weeks ago.(The Hello Kitty Ipod dock and Hello Kitty Ipod covers, click here to have a look at them.)

Now, all you need is set of Hello Kitty headphones to finish off the look! Those from Coloud are just fantastic. There are so many different designs and the headphones itself, have such a retro feel to them. I also like their size because they cover your whole ear, so in the winter they are useful as well as practical.

Well, I am showing you guys some of the Hello Kitty designs but there are many other characters to choose from. Betty Boop, Bob Square Pants and Marvel to name a few. Prices range is from €39,00 to €49,00(euros). In the UK retailing around £35, quite a reasonable price.
I really want the one below, the colourful Hello Kitty one! I totally ♥ it!

See you soon.

Is it a bag or a pair of shoes?

You decide!

A creative approach by Azumi and David, those clutches emulate the classic Chanel quilted style with the base of the bag being a pair of shoes, made of leather sole and heels!

I also came across this Birkin style bag...

With an interesting boot shape.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this... for starters I would not be worried to then rest my bag on the floor instead of resting it on a chair, I am actually embracing the idea and given the opportunity, I would give them a go for sure. Let me know what you think.

See you soon.

Farrah Fawcett Barbie.

Hey guys,

I hope you all have been keeping well and warm! Sorry for the lack of posting lately but I wasn't very well this week, I had another bad cold and didn't have much energy to do anything. Thank God, I am feeling like myself again and I am ready to blog!

In a total revival of the 70's, Mattel has now created one it's most iconic and beautiful Barbie dolls ever. I'm sure you will recognize that gorgeous smile and THE flicked hair style that was a huge trademark of this angel.

You have guessed... is the Barbie Farrah Fawcett! In the very same pose of the famous poster that sold over 12 million copies. This fantastic doll was a prototype and there was only one for sale, (which probably has been sold) for $1,500. There is no reason to despair if you are a collector, the doll is due to be released some time in the Fall 2011.

It's a little rich girl's dream but I would love to have one!

See you soon.

B is for Balenciaga bag!

Hi guys,

A colourful outfit post today. A nice mixture of purples, pinks and blues to brighten up my winter look. Thank goodness is not as cold as it was last week, I could enjoy myself just wearing a few layers again.

I'm so excited as my Christmas present has arrived earlier this year... I couldn't believe on this surprise, I got a Balenciaga bag!

I've been dreaming with one for a while and I could not believe that I actually managed to get it, on a very special sale.

It's called Giant Arena Ponpom, in Maldives, which is a beautiful summery colour, almost an aquamarine colour.

I really like the fact this is a big bag, easy to carry everything I need plus my camera. Wearing it sideways is so practical too, I haven't been hands free in a while. I am loving it!

Anyways, I think this is me done for Christmas! Laughs... I wish there was more. I still have my eye on so many things, Asos and Topshop websites kept me awake until late last night, I wish I could win the lottery!

Today I was wearing: Coat: Primark, Cardigan: Whistles, Jumper: From the Charity shop, Scarf: Alexander Mcqueen, Bag: Balenciaga, Belt: from Portobello Market, Boots: Dune.

Issey Miyake London shop - Bond Street

Hi guys,

I hope you have been well. I'm adding some new features to the blog... shop windows!!!
I love to do some window shopping, especially around Bond Street or Knightsbridge where you get the poshest shops in town. This week whilst walking out and about with my camera, I managed to take loads of cool pictures. It's been to cold for street style pictures at the moment... everyone is so wrapped up that sometimes it is hard to capture the outfits, but I have some really cool looks coming soon, so stay tuned.

Anyways, for now I'll leave you guys with a view of the Issey Miyake shop in Bond Street! One of my favourites too!
